Dutch-born French filmmaker Jan Kounen, is a traveler and explorer who for many years had profound experiences while immersing himself in the wisdom of shamanic cultures all throughout Mexico. This research is showcased in his documentary “Other Worlds” (2005), which he will expand on at Paua Paris 2023. Kounen is also known for his feature film “Coco Chanel & Igor Stravinsky” presented at the 2009 Cannes International Film Festival, amongst others.
