Sometimes, the best things don’t come from plans, but from the right conversations in the right spaces. This is exactly how our upcoming Ho’oponopono immersion with Kumu Ramsay Taum came to life.
It all started in the PAUA General WhatsApp group, during a conversation on New Year's Eve. Many of us shared an interest in learning about the real practice of Ho’oponopono—not the simplified version that circulates online, but the deep, ancestral wisdom of this Hawaiian practice.
That spark turned into action. Ryan James stepped in and invited Kumu Ramsay Taum, a respected Hawaiian teacher, to join us for an introductory call. When the day arrived, the energy in the room was undeniable—we weren’t just listening, we were witnessing a rare and profound transmission of wisdom.
The recording of this introductory call is available in this post. See the video above. ☝️

What is a Kumu?
Kumu is a Hawaiian word that means "teacher" or "source". It is often used to refer to someone who passes down wisdom, traditions, and cultural knowledge in a deep and meaningful way.
In traditional Hawaiian culture, a Kumu is more than just an instructor—they are respected mentors and guides, often teaching in areas such as hula, spirituality, healing practices, and ancestral knowledge. The word itself can also mean foundation, origin, or beginning, emphasizing the role of a Kumu in preserving and transmitting knowledge across generations.
In the context of Kumu Ramsay Taum, he is a cultural practitioner and teacher of Ho’oponopono, sharing traditional Hawaiian wisdom in a way that remains authentic and deeply rooted in its origins.
Why This Matters
Ho’oponopono is often reduced to a simple mantra, but in reality, it’s a living practice of restoration, reconciliation, and alignment—with self, others, and life itself. This is a rare opportunity to learn from someone who deeply carries this knowledge in an intimate and engaged setting.
If you feel called to be part of this, you already know why.
If financial reasons are holding you back, check the installment options in the event description. We want to make this accessible to those who truly want to be there.
A massive thank you to Ryan James for co-facilitating and making this happen, and to everyone in PAUA who helped shape this offering through your curiosity, your questions, and your presence.
This is how real learning spaces emerge.
From the community, for the community.
Looking forward to stepping into this together.
A Rare & Unique Opportunity
Learning directly from Kumu Ramsay Taum is a rare chance to experience Ho’oponopono as it is truly meant to be practiced—deep, relational, and rooted in Hawaiian tradition. This is not a recurring program, and it came to life through our PAUA community’s curiosity and desire to go deeper.
Right now, there are only 7 spots left. If you feel the call, this is the moment to step in.
